BASF AG.
BASF AG will concentrate the global functions of its Agricultural
Products division at Research Triangle Park, N.C., and Limburgerhof,
Germany, as of April 1, 2004. BASF currently has global Agricultural
Products functions at two U.S. sites and one European site.
Approximately 80 positions at BASF Corporation's Mount Olive, N.J.,
site will be affected by this decision, the company said. "The
concentration of activities at our two largest and most important sites
will further improve effectiveness and efficiency within the
division," says Hans W. Reiners, president of BASF's
Agricultural Products division.
