 game Saturday at Dedeaux Field Dedeaux Field is a college baseball stadium in Los Angeles, California, and the home field of the University of Southern California Trojans baseball team. The stadium holds 2,500 people and was built in 1974, the year USC won its record fifth consecutive College World Series title. .

Davidson, the first Washington player to homer three times in a game since 1957, drove in five runs for the Huskies (25-21-1, 11-6). Washington evened its series with the Trojans and pulled within a game of first-place USC (29-19, 12-5).

Davidson and Aaron Hathaway each had three hits, and Jay Garthwaite homered for the Huskies.

Starter Sean White Sean Thomas White (born April 25, 1981 in Pullman, Washington) is an American baseball player in the Seattle Mariners organization. A right-handed pitcher, White made his Major League Baseball debut with the Mariners in 2007.  and reliever Brian Carter limited the Trojans to five hits, including home runs by Brian Barre and Bill Peavey, and Washington had 13 hits in overcoming a 2-0 deficit.

--Pepperdine 10-9, St. Mary's 7-6: Duke Sardinha, Ed Montague, Simon Ferrer and Patrick Rooney had two hits apiece for the host Waves in the first game of a West Coast Conference doubleheader.

Sardinha hit his ninth home run and 16th double in the first game.

Pepperdine's Brandon Boesch scattered seven hits over seven innings and struck out six.

Nick Conti Conti (kôNtē`), cadet branch of the French royal house of Bourbon. Although the title of prince of Conti was created in the 16th cent.  and Brett Wayne homered for St. Mary's, which trailed 5-1 after six innings but took a one-run lead before Pepperdine stormed back with five runs in the eighth.

Rock Mills, Ferrer and Brent Haapanen had three hits each for Pepperdine (27-28, 15-11) in the second-game victory. Jason Waugh had three hits, including his 14th home run for St. Mary's (21-25, 13-13).
