BASEBALL BEAT TOUGH LOSS FOR CALABASAS.

Bobby Paschal (10-0) took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and finished with a two-hitter to lead Chaminade of West Hills to a 14-1 mercy-rule victory over host Calabasas in a nonleague game Thursday.

Matt Green drove in the only run for Calabasas (17-8), which suffered an injury to ace Justin Segal (6-2) in the second inning. Segal was hit on the foot by a line drive by Jim Milkovich.

Segal, who gave up eight hits and 11 runs, pitched to six more batters before being replaced in a 10-run inning. He was taken for X-rays after the game.

Milkovich, Cody Haether and T.J. Franco each had two hits of for Chaminade (22-3), which had 14 hits.
