BASEBALL: CHATSWORTH'S COYLE HURT.

Just when Chatsworth High outfielder Bobby Coyle was getting a chance to break through the shadows casted by his All-American teammates and claim a piece of the spotlight for himself, he suffered a serious setback.

Coyle was hospitalized and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks after colliding with another outfielder in pursuit of a ball Sunday during the North-South all-star series at UC Irvine.

As a result, Coyle suffered a skull fracture skull fracture,

Coyle was All-City honoree this season and hit better than .400 with six home runs and 35 RBIs for the Chancellors.
