BART Soliciting Candidates for Kennedy Seat on Board of Directors.News Editors OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2003 BART is soliciting letters of interest and biographical information from people who are interested in filling the BART Board of Directors seat for District No. 7. Director Willie B. Kennedy, who has represented District No. 7 since her appointment in 1996, is resigning from the board effective Jan. 31, 2003. Interviews, conducted by the BART Board of Directors, will be held in February. Letters of interest and biographical data should be delivered to the Office of the District Secretary, BART, 800 Madison Street, Oakland, CA, 94607, by 5 p.m., Feb. 12, 2003. Applicants will be notified by mail of the time, date and place when they may address the Board and be interviewed for the seat.
