BART Operates Regular Sunday Service for July 4.

On Thursday, "Fourth of July Fourth of July, Independence Day, or July Fourth, U.S. holiday, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Celebration of it began during the American Revolution. " holiday, BART will be operating on a regular Sunday schedule. Trains will operate at 20-minute intervals on three lines: Richmond/Fremont, Pittsburg/Bay Point-Colma and Dublin/Pleasanton-Daly City beginning at 8 a.m. BART Administration Offices will be closed.

Both parks are now under different ownership and are known as:
  • Great America (California) - Santa Clara, California, now owned by Cedar Fair.
 in Santa Clara will provide fireworks and can be reached by taking BART to the Fremont BART Station and transferring to the Santa Clara Transit, Express 141 to the entrance of Great America. Buses leave the Fremont BART Station every 40 minutes. Buses are wheelchair accessible. The one-way bus fare is $2.00.
