The increase will allow for better travel demand and convenience for seniors, youth, disabled and regular commuters. The new senior (green) and youth/disabled (red) discount ticket will increase in value from $16 to $24. The new $24 ticket will sell for $6. The 75% discount will remain unchanged for senior, youth and disabled. The current $16 ticket will still be valid on BART and will continue to be sold until the current supply of tickets is exhausted. The new $64 high-value regular blue ticket will be added to the existing $32 and $48 high-value tickets. The 6.25% discount will remain the same with $32 tickets selling for $30, $48 tickets selling for $45, and the new $64 ticket will sell for $60.
