BART & SamTrans To Discuss San Mateo County Extension.

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2004

BART today agreed to temporarily hold off on filing any legal action against SamTrans and to discuss outstanding issues related to running the San Mateo San Mateo (săn mətā`ō), city (1990 pop. 85,486), San Mateo co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1894. It is a commercial and retail center with some high-technology manufacturing. San Mateo, Spanish for St.  County extension with SamTrans.

BART's decision is based on SamTrans' action to pay immediately $7.1 million of the $8.9 million undisputed amount owed to BART for the operating costs operating costs nplgastos mpl operacionales  of the extension and its commitment to pay 100% of the undisputed amounts owed on April 1, and the involvement of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to seek a long-term financial solution to outstanding issues relating to relating to relate prepconcernant
