BART's Your Best Bet for the ''Bay Bridge Series'' and ''Season Opener''.

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 2004

As spring and baseball fever take over the Bay Area, BART is gearing up once again to make it easy for baseball fans to get to where their favorite team is playing.

This weekend (Friday, April 2 through Sunday, April 4) BART will provide longer trains to accommodate fans planning to attend the "Bay Bridge Series" between the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants The San Francisco Giants are a Major League Baseball team based in San Francisco, California that currently play in the National League West Division. Season Opener -- Monday, April 5

In addition to its regular weekday schedule, BART will provide longer trains to accommodate the large crowds expected on Monday, April 5 at the Oakland Coliseum for the 2004 home opener between the Oakland A's and the Texas Rangers Texas Rangers, mounted fighting force organized (1835) during the Texas Revolution. During the republic they became established as the guardians of the Texas frontier, particularly against Native Americans. . Game time is 7:05 p.m. After the game, additional BART trains will be kept on standby for the homebound trip.

BART personnel will be selling regular BART tickets from tables at the Dublin/Pleasanton station as a special convenience for game goers. BART urges those going to the game to purchase round trip tickets.
