BART's Expanded Long-Term Parking Will Begin Monday.News Editors OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2004 In an effort to make long-term parking more convenient, BART will expand its long-term parking program beginning this coming Monday, March 1. The expanded program calls for long-term parking to be available at all of BART's East Bay stations where there is parking. Currently, only three East Bay BART stations are designated to provide long-term parking: El Cerrito El Cerrito (ĕl sərē`tō), city (1990 pop. 22,869), Contra Costa co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1917. BART officials, the cost to reserve a space for longer than 24 hours will now cost $5.00 a day, reduced from $7.00 a day. Under the new program, there will be no attendant.
