But when this tournament is done, Baron's baseball career is still far from over. He will attend Northwestern next year, where he'll study psychology and health sciences, and is hoping to earn a starting spot in the Wildcats' outfield. ``The coach said I have a chance to start in the outfield,'' said Baron, who plays right and center field for Newhall-Saugus. ``It really doesn't matter to me where I play. They said they might even use me to catch some.'' When he leaves Sept. 9 for Northwestern, he'll be leaving the area he's called home all his life. But that doesn't worry him. ``I'm just excited to be going to a new environment and to meet new people,'' he said.
