Anyone in the market for new window treatments - draperies, blinds or shades - would do themselves a favor by stopping in at Star Draperies Manufacturing. Star Draperies has been beautifying homes since 1974. Although customers can order stock items at discounted prices - for example, Levelors in 150 colors at $87 (including installation), retail about $190 - the focus here is on custom window treatments.

No doubt, vertical and mini-blinds are still popular, but many consumers are moving toward a softer look by using draperies or shades made in fabrics of their choice. By manufacturing custom orders locally, Star Draperies is the source rather than the middleman mid·dle·man
