Anyone who buys clothing for growing young men knows that what fits one month doesn't necessarily fit the next. If you happen to have one of these growing wonders in your household, you'll find plenty of suitable clothing at discounts of 20 percent to 40 percent below retail at the Bugle Boy Bugle Boy is a brand of pants popular in the 1980s founded by Dr. William Mow in 1977. It declared bankruptcy in 2001.

Bugle Boy featured men's and boys' clothing, often with a denim theme.
 Factory Store.

Long-sleeve, plaid flannel flannel, large group of napped plain-weave or twill-weave fabrics made of cotton, wool, or man-made fibers. Flannel fabrics vary in closeness or firmness of weave and in degree of napping.  shirts for boys sizes 8 to 20, normally retailing for about $15, are $10.99 here. Loose-fitting jeans in the same sizes are $17.99 instead of $22 to $24 retail.

The Bugle Boy Factory Store also features special sales throughout the year. Currently (just in time for holiday shopping), everything in the store is priced at or below $20.

During the sale, which lasts through Dec. 24, boys' flannel shirts are $8 instead of $10.99, and the $17.99 jeans are $15; men's prices are $15 for the wrinkle-free pants, $10 for the long-sleeve shirts and $17 for the 760 loose-fit jeans.

Also available during the sale are fleece fleece, mat of wool formed by shearing a sheep in one continuous operation. The average fleece weighs from 5 to 10 lb (2.3–4.5 kg); in highbred wool sheep such as the American Merinos a ram's fleece may reach 30 lb (13.6 kg).  tops and bottoms for boys sizes 4 to 7. The regular outlet price is $14.99 each ($18 to $20 retail), but during the sale the price is $12.

Bugle Boy Factory Store is located at 355 E. Easy St., Simi Valley; (805) 581-1907. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. All major credit cards are accepted. Full refund available with sales receipt, exchange only without sales receipt.
