COLERAINE are closing in on towering 6'4" tall Finn Harps defender Marc Mukendi.

Mukendi, who turned 22 last week, is the son of former Harps and Derry City player and Zaire international Jose Mukendi.

The centre-half - who joined Harps from Derry in 2008 - is thought to be weighing up his options.

And Coleraine boss David Platt is keen on bringing the former Republic of Ireland U19 and U18 starlet to the Showgrounds.
