Banning High School's Nick Garcia Nick Garcia (born April 9, 1979 in Plano, Texas) is an American soccer defender, who currently plays for the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. As a senior at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, Garcia won the 1996-97 Gatorade National Boys Socccer Player of , bound for Cal State Northridge, smashed a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to inflict a crushing final blow in a 9-6 win over Kennedy, ending the Cougars' two-year reign as City 4-A baseball champion.
