 BANKRUPTCY COURT EXTENDS CHAPTER 11
 EXCLUSIVITY PERIODS FOR COLUMBIA COMPANIES
 WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware today extended until March 25, 1993, the periods during which The Columbia Gas System, Inc. (NYSE:CG), and its principal pipeline subsidiary, Columbia Gas Transmission Corp., have the exclusive rights to file Chapter 11 reorganization plans.
 The two companies have been operating as debtors in possession under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code since July 31, 1991.
 The court has granted three prior extensions to the two companies, the most recent of which would have expired Nov. 25.
