Bank of America (NYSE: BAC TYO: 8648 ) is the largest commercial bank in the United States in terms of deposits, and the largest company of its kind in the world.

Cary Walker, a bank spokesman, said officials have taken steps to help their employees feel safe again. All of them received one-on-one counseling. They also met as a group Saturday to talk about what happened.

``Friday's attempted robbery was a very unusual incident,'' Walker said. ``Those who require continued assistance will receive it.''

Security procedures are constantly reviewed and altered when needed, Walker said.

That's of some comfort to customers.
