BANISTER'S BUILDING SUBSIDIARY AWARDED B.C. CONTRACTS SCARBOROUGH, Ontario, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Banister Inc.
(AMEX: BAN) today announced that the Foundation Building West division of Banister's building subsidiary, the Jackson-Lewis Company Inc., has been awarded three major contracts for part of phase 1 of the new University of Northern British Columbia at Prince George.
The contracts involve the construction of 30,000 square meters of floor area and the placing of more than 10,000 cubic meters of concrete for the administration building, laboratory and library, the university's core buildings for this phase which will accommodate 2,200 students. Building enclosure completion is scheduled for November 1992. Banister Inc. is a Canadian based construction firm specializing in building, civil, industrial, pipeline and utility construction.
