TALENTED musicians came to Tyneside to battle it out in the brass
band world's version of the X Factor.

brass bands came to the event to fight it out in the Brass in Concert
Championship 2009. Among those taking to the stage to perform their own
mini-concert were the Grimethorpe Colliery, Norway's Manger
Musikklag and the USA's Fountain City Fountain City may be: - Fountain City, Indiana, USA.

- Fountain City, Tennessee, USA.
Brass Band. Originally
contested in the canteen of a cigarette factory, the competition has
grown into a popular festival.
