BAND TO BRING DIXIELAND TO SUMMER PARK CONCERT.

Bleomycin, Oncovin, Platinol  to the traditional tunes of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band Preservation Hall Jazz Band is the name for groups of Traditional jazz musicians from New Orleans on tours organized by Preservation Hall.

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band usually performs nightly at Preservation Hall and tours around the world over 150 days a year.

The band is not a stranger to the park, where nearly 4,000 people enjoyed their music last year.

The concert in the park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., will begin at 5 p.m. and is expected to last about two hours.

The band will also make an appearance Monday at 10 a.m. at the Madrid Theatre as part of the Canoga Park center's concert series. Students from several local schools are expected to attend the free educational concert at 21622 Sherman Way.
