A commercial term, adopted from the Italian, used to distinguish bank money from the common currency; as $1000, BILBAO VIZCAYA ARGENTARIA (BBVA BBVA Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (First Bank of Spain) ) bought local bank Bancomer, creating the country's largest bank. BBVA will inject in·ject v. 1. To introduce a substance, such as a drug or vaccine, into a body part.
2. To treat by means of injection. US$1.4 billion cash into Bancomer before issuing $450 million in debt to further increase its capital.
