New ballet lessons aimed specifically at under-fives are proving a big hit with toddlers and parents alike. Baby Ballet was founded last September by dance teacher Claire O'Connor. The 31-year-old Greetland mother-of-two wanted to give the youngsters a chance to learn the basics of ballet before they could officially join a dance school. She said: "They only learn the basics, because of their age. The main thing is they are learning about being active. "The mums love it as well, because the children are not sitting in front of the television. Also, when they are in their outfits they look very cute cute adj. cut·er, cut·est 1. Claire is planning to start more classes after places at the original ones - held twice a week at Brewster's pub at Ainley Top roundabout - were snapped up. The new classes will start at Holmfirth Civic Hall in September. Claire added: "I will take inquiries from people anywhere and when there are enough people interested in a certain place we can start another class. "It has been really popular and I'll try and expand it beyond West Yorkshire West Yorkshire, former metropolitan county, N central England.
