The Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Ballet Folklorico will present a celebration of Mexican culture at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Hart High School Hart High School may refer to:

 auditorium.

``Mi Herencia'' (``My Heritage'') will be performed complete with props, a live mariachi and a soloist. The music and costumes represent the various regions of Mexico, such as Jalisco, Veracruz and Guerrero.

Instructor Luz Medina has taught Ballet Folklorico at the Community Center in Newhall for the past eight years. Tickets to Saturday's performance are $5 per person. Tickets are available at the door or by calling Medina at (661) 284-1476.
