BALDE'S UP FOR WOLVES D-DAY.


BOBO BALDE has just one game left to prove he's worth a move to Wolves.

The 33-year-old former Celtic stopper has been on trial with the Premiership new boys and will make a third appearance for them at Bristol City on Saturday.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy Michael Joseph "Mick" McCarthy (b. February 7 1959, Barnsley, England) is an English-born Irish former professional footballer, who is currently the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers.  will then make a decision on whether to offer the Guinean a deal.

McCarthy said: "I was pleased with how Bobo played at Walsall.

"It is difficult for players to have trials in pre-season friendlies but Bobo got better as the game went on. He looked a good centre back."

"In terms of stadium support, Celtic is easily the best in Europe and for 90 minutes the away team is exposed to the most powerful noise attack.

"I played against Celtic for FC Tirol in the UEFA Cup. We won at home then in the second leg I remember the atmosphere created by their supporters at Parkhead. We crumbled."
