BAHRAIN - Bahrain's Prospects.
The future of Bahrain will depend on what will happen in Saudi
Arabia, particularly in the Eastern Province. If and when the radical
Wahhabis begin to appear close to controlling their religious
establishment, there will be trouble in the Eastern Province and in
Bahrain. The Shiites will rise. But if the US moves quickly to control
the situation in the Eastern Province - a big If judging by the mess in
Iraq - the future of Bahrain will be secure.
