BAENA LEADS ARIZONA TO NCAA CROWN.

Thanks to an eagle by freshman Marisa Baena Marisa Baena (born June 1 1977 in Pereira, Colombia) is a Colombian golfer who plays on the U.S. based LPGA Tour.

Baena started playing golf at the age of six. She attended the University of Arizona in the United States and had an outstanding amateur career, the highlights

Baena won the individual title with a four-day total of of 296. Arizona State's Kellee Booth was second, UCLA's Kathy Choi third.

Williamson leads Kemper: Jay Williamson shot a 68 and holds a one-stroke lead after three rounds of the Kemper Open in Potomac, Md. His total is 12-under-par 201, one shot ahead of Steve Stricker.

John Daly, using a 0-iron club that helped him drive the ball 270-290 yeards, was three shots back. ``That's the one thing I love about it,'' Daly said of his unique club. ``It doesn't make me think about, `Well, should I hit driver? Should I try to cut a driver or should I try to hook a 1-iron?' It's made it a lot easier for me to just get hold of 0-iron.''

Aoki ahead: Isao Aoki put himself into position for his first tournament win since last August with a 4-under-par 68 round that gave him a one-stroke lead after two rounds of the $1.2 million BellSouth Senior Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
