BAE Systems wins ME Boeing remarketing deal.

Byline: Dubai

BAE Systems BAE Systems

British manufacturer of aircraft, missiles, avionics, naval vessels, and other aerospace and defense products. BAE Systems was formed (1999) from the merger of British Aerospace (BAe) with Marconi Electronic Systems.
has won an exclusive mandate from an unnamed Middle East operator to remarket a Boeing 767-300ER wide-body airliner for sale or lease.

This late model aircraft is a GE CF6-80C2B7F-powered variant and is configured in a high standard three-class 196-seat interior layout.

The Asset Management business of BAE Systems Regional Aircraft BAE Systems Regional Aircraft produced the last fully UK-built airliner in November 2001, the Avro RJX (formerly the BAE 146). While this unit no longer produces aircraft it continues to lease aircraft and provide support, spares and training for its products, the
has developed a strong plan to promote this attractive aircraft to a wide range of potential buyers, including existing Boeing 767 customers, operators which have ordered Boeing 787s or Airbus A350XWB XWB Extra Wide Body (Airbus)  and need interim capacity until these delayed aircraft are delivered, as well as into the freight or VIP conversion markets.

In addition to marketing the aircraft BAE Systems will use its extensive experience and relationships in aircraft leasing and finance to help bring deal opportunities for the Boeing 767 to a conclusion, according to a statement.- TradeArabia News Service
