BAE Systems makes its economic mark in N.H.

Employees, along with the company itself, donated $3.2 million in cash and in-kind services to nonprofit organizations and charities in the state, which included more than $1.6 million to United Way and a five-year, $1 million capital pledge to the University of New Hampshire's Engineering School.

Employees also donated some 6,000 hours of volunteer time to the Granite State Regional FIRST robotics corn petition, held each year in Manchester.
