The U.S. Navy purchased the grounds to establish this facility from the Brewster Aeronautical Corporation following its bankruptcy in the Aircraft Division, Patuxent River The Patuxent River is a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Maryland. There are three main river drainages for central Maryland: the Potomac River to the west passing through Washington D.C. , St. Inigoes, Md. Work will be performed in California, Md. (63%); Fayetteville, N.C. (12%); Chesapeake, Va. (8%); San Diego, Calif. (7%); Fort Bliss, Texas (4%), Fort Walton Beach Fort Walton Beach, city (1990 pop. 21,471), Okaloosa co., NW Fla., on the Gulf of Mexico; inc. 1941. It is a year-round beach and fishing resort east of Pensacola. Electronic equipment and small boats are made, and military aircraft are modified here. , Fla. (2%); Panzer Kaserne, Germany (2%); and Puerto Rico (2%); and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
