In this newly created position, Osterholz will be responsible for assuring increased focus and the future development of BAE Systems North America capabilities in the C4ISR marketplace. His near term focus will be on definition and implementation of joint strategic initiatives of the Information Systems Sector (ISS ISS

), both of which have programs and products within the C4ISR market. Osterholz will report to Dr. Marshall Banker, president of the Information Systems Sector (ISS), and will work closely with Galen Ho, president of the IESI Sector.

Osterholz joins BAE Systems after nearly 35 years of dedicated and highly decorated government service. For the past four years, as principal director - C4ISR Architecture and Integration, Osterholz was the principal OSD (1) (On-Screen Display) An on-screen control panel for adjusting monitors and TVs. ) and assistant director - White House Military Office. Prior to his assignments in Washington, Osterholz was a U.S. Army officer and spent time in special operations, reconnaissance and intelligence.

John is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including the Secretary of Defense Medal for Distinguished Service, three-time winner of the Presidential Rank Meritorious Executive Award, Federal Interagency Council Leadership Award and the White House Military Office Distinguished Service Medal.
