 Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $16,746,119 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract (N00421-97-C-1460) to exercise an option for technical and engineering services in support of the integration and testing of radio communication systems for shipboard ship·board

 installation. The estimated level of effort for this option is 512,760 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (80%); St. Inigoes, Md., (10%); Bath, Maine Bath is a city in Sagadahoc County, Maine, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 9,266. It is the county seat of Sagadahoc CountyGR6. Located on the Kennebec River, Bath is a port of entry with a good harbor.  (5%); and Pascagoula, Miss. (5%), and is expected to be completed in October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center The Naval Air Warfare Center was a former U.S. Navy military installation located in Warminster, Pennsylvania and Ivyland, Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Navy purchased the grounds to establish this facility from the Brewster Aeronautical Corporation following its bankruptcy in the
 Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.
