, Rockville, Md., is being awarded an $11,016,896cost-plus-fixed-fee term services contract for procurement of technical and engineering support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  for exterior communications systems and subsystems including the design, development, integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance and logistics support of Navy/Joint/National Agency Command control, communications, computers and intelligence communications-electronics. Work will be performed in California, Md. (90%), and St. Inigoes, Md.(10%), and is expected to be completed by December 2002.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic solicitation of 16 firms with two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command The Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR, is the part of the United States Navy which provides materiel support for naval aircraft and airborne weapon systems, such as guided missiles. NAVAIR was established in 1966 as the successor to the Navy's Bureau of Naval Weapons (BuWeps). , Naval Air Warfare Center The Naval Air Warfare Center was a former U.S. Navy military installation located in Warminster, Pennsylvania and Ivyland, Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Navy purchased the grounds to establish this facility from the Brewster Aeronautical Corporation following its bankruptcy in the
 Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-02-C-3058).
