BAE SYSTEMS Wins $132 Million COSMIC Contract.

 has been awarded the Concepts and Operations for Space and Missile Defense Integration Capabilities (COSMIC) contract for $132 million from the U.S. Army. Space and Missile Defense Command Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) is a specialized major command within the United States Army. The SMDC is an organization composed of five components:

Work will be performed by employees of BAE Systems primarily in Colorado Springs, Colo., Huntsville, Ala. and the Washington, D.C. area.
