BAE SYSTEMS Signs International Agreements for F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

In addition, the MOAs not only demonstrate BAE Systems willingness and commitment to use the best capabilities and services available today, but are also a major step in developing long-term relationships with our foreign suppliers," Lenz said.

The MOA includes the assembly of electronic test equipment for the JSF EW program.

Thales Nederland B.V, located in Hengelo, is BAE Systems JSF EW work-share partner in The Netherlands. Thales is a European high-technology group with expertise in electronics-based defense systems and services. Thales will provide machining and casting of sub-modules and components, and the assembly of electronic components.

Galileo Avionica S.p.A., wholly owned by Finmeccanica, and based in Italy, specializes in mission electronics, avionics and electro-optics for the defense industry. Galileo Avionica will assemble cables and selected electronic components.

BAE Systems Australia BAE Systems Australia, a subsidiary of BAE Systems plc is a leading Australian defence contractor formed by the merger of British Aerospace Australia and GEC-Marconi Systems. BAE Systems Australia is a capability partner of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).  Limited was chosen as the work-share partner in Australia to produce wiring boards and assemblies, cable assemblies and selected electronic components. Located in Edinburgh Parks, BAE Systems Australia Limited, is also a defense systems integrator and manufacturer of EW systems.

The Joint Strike Fighter F-35 project is sponsored by the JSF Program Office in Arlington, Virginia.
