JCAD ChemSentry(TM) is designed and produced at the BAE SYSTEMS facility in Austin, Texas. BAE SYSTEMS chemical detection systems are designed to accomplish their mission in the most adverse environments users can encounter.

The JCAD ChemSentry(TM) is the commercial version of the U.S. military's Joint Chemical Agent Detector (JCAD). The JCAD program is a collaborative engineering, manufacturing and development (EMD EMD Electromechanical dissociation, see there ) effort by the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. The Air Force is the lead service for the JCAD program, with the program office located at Brooks City-Base Brooks City-Base is a former United States Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, that was established in 1918.
