), is a multiple-award vehicle, designed to furnish full-spectrum IT services in support of the Center's mission to develop and provide meteorological and oceanographic A term used to convey all meteorological (weather) and oceanographic (physical oceanography) factors as provided by Service components. These factors include the whole range of atmospheric and oceanographic phenomena, from the sub-bottom of the earth's oceans up to the space environment  products to the Navy and other Department of Defense elements worldwide. The contract is valued at $100 million over a five-year period.

BAE Systems is one of only three major prime contractors selected to provide IT support to FNMOC in all six core functional areas: technology exploration, technology exploitation, systems engineering, component development, security/information assurance, and cryptographic development and validation. The core functional areas are critical to the Center's goals to provide real-time distribution of numerical, environmental, global forecast models for ships, aircraft, and other forces throughout DoD. The products and services are essential to DoD's efforts to increase safety of U.S. forces and optimize the use of platforms, weapons, sensors, and facilities anywhere, at any time.
