 contract, BAE SYSTEMS Ordnance Systems, operating contractor of the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, will manufacture high explosives for integration into a variety of military weapon systems. Work will be performed by BAE SYSTEMS Ordnance Systems employees in Kingsport, Tenn., and will be completed by Sept. 2007.

"Holston has a strategic role to play in the Army's industrial base. No single plant in the western world could produce these projected quantities in the timeframe, other than Holston and we are proud to be making our contribution to the ongoing defense of this nation."
