BAE SYSTEMS Awarded $7.2 Million Contract to Manufacture Explosives for U.S. Army.

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 2003

 has been awarded a $7.2 million contract by the U.S. Army to manufacture Composition C-4 Class 3 explosives. This is in addition to an existing contract valued at $5.7 million.

Under the new contract, BAE SYSTEMS Ordnance Systems will manufacture 982,159 pounds of C-4 Class 3 explosives to support various Army ordnance programs.
