BACK FOR CHARITY TARZANA KIWANIS CLUB ON THE MOVE AGAIN.Byline: JOHAN MENGESHA Valley News Writer After being only moderately active for some time, the Tarzana Kiwanis Club is looking to start new projects in its community to raise money for charities. On Oct. 6, the club will rent a miniature golf course and family entertainment center, Sherman Oaks Castle Park, and have its own tournament. The price is $30 per person. Principal Vicki Quan Lee said a staff member from her school contacted the Kiwanis members to help her school raise money to buy instruments needed for an after-school music program. To get new members, Rinaldi said the club needs to come up with projects that are both fun and valuable to the community. ``If it's just fun, people think they should be doing something better with their time,'' he said.
