 BACHMAN ANNOUNCES SECONDARY OFFERING
 BURLINGTON, Mass., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Bachman Information


Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BACH) announced today a secondary offering of 109,500 shares of common stock. This offering will not increase the number of shares outstanding.
 Of the 109,500 shares registered, 100,000 shares will be sold by Abacus Trustees (Jersey) Limited and 9,500 shares will be sold by Luciano Balma. These shares were previously issued to the respective shareholders in partial consideration for distributor businesses acquired by BACHMAN in the United Kingdom and Italy.
 The shares will be offered at market prices from time to time during the next 60 days. Copies of the prospectus related to the offering may be obtained from Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, which will act as a broker-dealer in connection with the offering. BACHMAN will not receive any proceeds of the offering.
 Bachman Information Systems, Inc. develops, markets and supports an integrated line of computer-aided software engineering products that enable the development and maintenance of business information systems.
