 BACHMAN ANNOUNCES NEW REPOSITORY SERVICE;
 COMPANY REDIRECTS REPOSITORY ENABLEMENT
 BURLINGTON, Mass., May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Bachman Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BACH) today announced a redirection in its IBM Repository Manager/MVS enablement efforts to further accommodate user feedback. BACHMAN is making immediately available the BACHMAN/Plus Analyst Repository Enablement service to facilitate the connection between the Repository enterprise model and the data model portion of the BACHMAN/Analyst -- BACHMAN's analysis and design product. Previously, BACHMAN had announced its intention to deliver the BACHMAN/DBA Repository Services product, which it will not deliver.
 "Our top priority is to our customers who can begin leveraging Repository functionality today through the new BACHMAN/Plus Analyst Repository Enablement," said William H. Wise, vice president of marketing at BACHMAN. "BACHMAN views the information model and the IBM Repository Manager/MVS as essential to long-term customer success in using multiple vendor CASE tools and sharing information across geographies. As enhancements are delivered to the repository, BACHMAN will continue to provide additional enablement," added Wise.
