BABY STORE HOSTAGE SITUATION ENDS SAFELY.

About 5:24 p.m., the Malibu-Lost Hills sheriff's station received a call alerting officials about the situation.

No weapon was found when Frear was taken into custody, officials said.

Campbell said it was possible the man had some kind of disagreement with the manager.
