A FATHER and his two daughters were found shot dead yesterday after a suspected gangland killing A gangland killing is a murder carried out by organized criminals. The nine-month-old tot was discovered lying unhurt in a pool of blood alongside the bodies of the 62-year-old man, a cleaner called Noel, and the women aged 34 and 27 - both believed to be related to the youngster.

Neighbour Neelam Hussain said she heard shots soon after three black men knocked at her door on Thursday night asking for "Kally".

The 36-year-old added: "I said, 'There is no one living here called that'. So I shut the door. It's terrifying to think what I heard."

Resident Nilesh Mansuklal said the dead man, a Jamaican know locally as "Fisherman", and was a popular member of the community.

The 36-year-old paper manufacturer added: "He would sit outside the shops with his friends and he was a very nice guy.

"I can't understand why anyone would want to shoot an old man like him. He'd never got into any trouble." Officers from Operation Trident

Police could not confirm if the dead man was the father of the two women but said it was possible.
