BABY DIES IN CARAVAN PARK BLAZE TRAGEDY; Dad in desperate attempt to save girl.Byline: By Karen Bale and John McEachran A BABY girl was killed when fire tore through her family's caravan yesterday. The 10-month-old tot died despite her father's frantic attempts to save her from their blazing home. Last night, a source at the site said: 'The baby's dad fought like mad to save the child. He was in the caravan at the time and he was desperate to get his kids out. 'Other members of staff rushed to help him but the blaze was very fierce and it happened so quickly. 'They could not save the baby although they tried very hard. It looks like it was just a tragic accident.' The dad, his wife and their four children had been at Wemyss Bay since the start of last summer season. He was working in the Ayrshire camp's entertainment centre.
