BAB Holdings, Inc. Signs Master Franchise Agreement for United Arab Emirates.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1999--

BAB Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: BAGL BAGL Big Air Gaming League (video game organization) ), the Chicago-based operator, franchisor, and licensor of Big Apple Bagels Big Apple Bagels is a US franchised chain of bakery-cafes. Coffee, along with a variety of other related products are sold. The products are sold as three different brands; Big Apple Bagels, Brewster's Coffee, and My Favorite Muffin.[1]

(R), My Favorite My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives. My Favorite broke up on September 14, 2005, when singer Andrea Vaughn left the band.  Muffin(R), and Brewster's Coffee(R) today announced that an agreement has been signed with the Al Shamsi Group of the United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates, federation of sheikhdoms (2005 est. pop. 2,563,000), c.30,000 sq mi (77,700 sq km), SE Arabia, on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. . Under this agreement, the Al Shamsi Group will act as master franchisee of Big Apple Bagels(R) tri-branded bagel bakery/cafe's throughout the UAE (Uninterruptible Application Error) The name given to a crash in Windows 3.0. In subsequent versions of Windows, a crash was called a "General Protection Fault," "Application Error" or "Illegal Operation." See crash in Windows and abend. .

Initial development is expected to start in Dubai, with an anticipated opening of a first location during the first quarter of 2000. Shortly thereafter, expansion is anticipated in Abu Dabi and other cities within the United Arab Emirates.

The Al Shamsi Group, headed by Yousuf Ahmed Al Shamsi, is a diversified conglomerate of manufacturing, trading, and service sector businesses.
