B.E. helps students, too.I AM A LONGTIME FAN OF THE MAGAZINE AND A CURRENT SUBSCRIBER. I had the chance to meet Earl Graves shortly before finishing my doctorate (my research concentrated on black entrepreneurship in the St. Louis metro area), and I told him I had utilized BE as part of my dissertation research. I'm just writing to say how vital BLACK ENTERPRISE is to our community, not only for those of us in professions but for anyone seeking knowledge or self-improvement. I recently participated in a panel discussion on franchising at my alma mater, Kentucky State University, and BE was my focus point for beginning my research. Keep empowering our people through the written word (as well as innovative technology), and let the knowledge guide us to prosperous days and meaningful lives.
