Gordon Muir Campbell
, has called for a "Conversation on Health," a public consultation on how the health care system will cope the growing demand and expenses as the population grows and ages.

He wants to consider the five principles of the Canada Health Act--Public Administration, Comprehensiveness, Universality, Portability and Accessibility. However, Premier Campbell is adding a sixth principle--Sustainability. Can the province afford the existing system in the future?

New Democrat health critic, Adrian Dix Adrian Dix is a Canadian politician, currrently serving as MLA for Vancouver-Kingsway in the Canadian province of British Columbia. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly in the 2005 election.

A native of Vancouver, Dix is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.
