B-Side Deal.

A 2.9-acre commercial development in Little Rock changed hands in a $1.78 million deal.

Eugene Pfeifer III and his namesake trust bought the 1500 Westpark Drive project leased to Federal Express.

The seller was West Park Investments Inc., led by Maria N. Taylor.

You might recall this acquisition comes on the flip side of Pfeifer selling the 2-acre Kroger store development at 1816 N. Polk St. in Little Rock for $2.5 million to the Cincinnati-based grocery chain. ("Whispers," Nov. 22, 1999).

Can you say tax-deferred exchange?
