B-CAD'TM' Featured in Paper on Advanced Technical Aspects and Future Trends in Ultrasound at European Congress of Radiology.

The Medipattern Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MKI), an award-winning developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) software applications for medical imaging, today announced that Dr. Giorgio Rizzatto, a member of Medipattern's Medical Advisory Board, will include B-CAD(TM) in his presentation, "Ultrasound - Advanced Technical Aspects and Future Trends", at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna on March 6, 2006.

Dr. Giorgio Rizzatto, a luminary in the field of breast ultrasound, will discuss B-CAD at ECR in an industry session on breast imaging. B-CAD, the first commercially available breast ultrasound CAD solution for radiologists, provides tools for automatic image analysis, segmentation, and classification of features recommended by the American College of Radiologists' (ACR) breast imaging lexicon, BI-RADS(R). B-CAD also enables detailed automatic report generation. Designed and built by Medipattern, B-CAD will be shown in Cedara Software's booth as Cedara B-CAD, part of their I-ReadMammo(TM) integrated approach to breast imaging. As previously announced, Medipattern has achieved its full Quality Assurance System Approval Certification, allowing for CE Marking of B-CAD for the European market. The CE Mark indicates that a company has met certain essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements, and permits product access to the EU market.
