WELLINGTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 2001

B/E Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV BEAV Binary Editor and Viewer ) today announced that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Form S-4 covering subordinated notes, preferred stock Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders.

Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate.
 and/or common stock in an aggregate amount of up to $250 million which may be issued in connection with future acquisitions.

Offerings of the aforementioned securities will be made only by means of the prospectus filed as part of the registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
